Every Wednesday, you can tune into All India Radio for a 15-minute programme on the Sustainable Development Goals. The programme, produced by OneWorld Foundation India in collaboration with the National Foundation for India, is broadcast in Hindi. There have been 30 episodes to date.
Italy’s second Sustainable Development Festival promises to be even bigger than the first. To be held over the course of 17 days from 22 May to 7 June 2018 (that’s 1 day per SDG), about 500 events will help build awareness and promote actions for sustainable development across the country. The Festival is organised by the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development.
This campaign aimed to raise community awareness of the benefits of fish as a source of good protein. It was organised in Naukae Village and led by the by the Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO), collaborating with the Provincial Fisheries and Marine Affairs office (DKP) of East Mira Tenggara (NTT).
Mitmachen! (“Get Active!”) shows people how they can contribute to the SDGs through sustainable consumption, volunteering or corporate social responsibility. The portal is run by Austria’s Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs and the Austrian Development Agency.
This year, Irish Aid took the SDGs to where people have fun: Electric Picnic, Ireland’s biggest music festival. The festival was an opportunity to show over 50,000 music lovers how Irish Aid is working to implement the SDGs, and how they can support the goals themselves.
