From June to October 2023, the OECD Development Communication Network (DevCom) invited various development organisations to take the “Going Global” survey to gain a deeper understanding of how development co-operation providers approach communications in partner countries.
What are their goals and challenges, and what lessons can they share with other members of the network?

The survey is divided into four parts:
- Goals, Strategies, and Audiences – Why do development organisations communicate in partner countries?
- Organisational Set-Up – How are development organisations set up to communicate in partner countries?
- Understanding Local Contexts – What do development organisations do to understand and adapt to local contexts?
- Next Steps for the DevCom Network – How can the DevCom network best support their efforts to communicate in partner countries?
